Manning is the Jets' new face under center. Grade: B.

Start where it matters. The Jets took Arch Manning to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

Arnold at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The Perkins Jr. reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

In slot 4 they get a passer to set the clock by. It fills the loudest need on the roster.

You do not let a running back like Jeremiyah Love reach the 36th overall pick and blink. They did not. It fills a real need, too.

They left a pile of value on the table to take Harold Perkins Jr. this early at the Round 3 slot. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
