There is conviction, and then there is this. The Jets took Braden Fiske a full 39 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Hadden pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
