If confidence were a draft strategy, the Jets would have aced it. Nathan Pickering at slot 257 is 112 spots clear of where he belonged.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, the swing picks will decide whether this ages well.
