The Jets cashed the board's mistake on Judkins: B-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Quinshon Judkins tumbling to the Jets in pick 157 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Hamilton has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick7 Rnd1 Will Campbell
In the 7th pick they get a blindside protector at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick42 Rnd2 Malaki Starks
You do not let a safety like Malaki Starks reach pick 42 and blink. They did not. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick92 Rnd3 Jalon Walker
Circle this one: Jalon Walker at slot 92 is a fall that decides a draft. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick109 Rnd4 Elijah Arroyo
A tight end of that caliber at the 109th overall pick is the definition of value, full stop. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick146 Rnd5 Nick Nash
A straight-up fair deal on Nick Nash at Round 5, Pick 9, value and slot in agreement. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick157 Rnd5 Quinshon Judkins
Steal is underselling it; Quinshon Judkins at No. 157 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick188 Rnd6 Ty Hamilton
They reached a country mile for Ty Hamilton at pick No. 188, and the board is aghast. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick209 Rnd6 Jaylen Reed
They barely believed it either: Jaylen Reed still on the board at the Round 6 slot. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
