There is conviction, and then there is this. The Jets took Kai Kroeger a full 76 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Everything downstream of Cam Ward depends on Cam Ward, and the building knows it. Getting Warren where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
