You build a draft on nights like this. Sheridan Jones had no business being available in Round 7, Pick 39, and the Jets did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They are betting Tupuola-Fetui proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
