Call it larceny. Drew Allar sat on the board until No. 93, and the Jets did not need to be asked twice.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will need Kiser to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

The Jets clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
