Some picks age like wine; Nazir Stackhouse at pick 157 will need to, sitting 42 spots clear of his grade. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

Howard at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
