The Giants finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D-. The Giants did not so much draft Trey Knox as overpay for him, 51 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Bo Nix gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits.
That Fautanu pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
