The Giants got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D+. The Giants clearly saw something nobody else did in Tanner McLachlan, taking him 101 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.
Haynesworth falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.
The veteran additions, Baker Mayfield chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
