A franchise passer in Beck headlines a D weekend for the Giants.

Somebody in No. 195 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Giants sat still while Conner Weigman, the No. 50 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Everything downstream of Carson Beck depends on Carson Beck, and the building knows it. They are betting Griffith proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
