The Giants drew a line under the quarterback search with Ewers: B+. Call it larceny. Conner Weigman sat on the board until pick No. 173, and the Giants did not need to be asked twice.
So much rides on Quinn Ewers that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Giants clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
On the needs board they went 9 of 9, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
