Somebody took the Giants to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

Whatever J.J. McCarthy becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They banked enough surplus on Bullock to cover a lot of smaller sins. The Fisher pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Rob Havenstein gives the group a proven body among the projects.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
