Williams is the plan now, and the Giants grade out a D. The Giants clearly saw something nobody else did in Taulia Tagovailoa, taking him 64 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Landing Eboigbe that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Whatever Caleb Williams becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
