Williams is the Giants' new face under center. Grade: D+. This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jaheim Bell, the No. 141 name on the board, stolen at No. 238. A D+ that will need time and luck to look better.
Caleb Williams gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The Hall reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.
The Giants clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
