The Giants cashed the board's mistake on Ayomanor: A-. You build a draft on nights like this. Elic Ayomanor had no business being available in pick 130, and the Giants did the only sane thing and turned in the card.
Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.
Job largely done: safety settled and 8 of 9 of the wish list covered. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
Bottom line, with James Pearce Jr. leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
