The Giants finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B.

The Giants spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Conner Weigman, the No. 53 name on the board, in the 134th pick.

The whole projection now runs through Carson Beck; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The cost of the Travis reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
