The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Giants watched Donovan Jackson slide 65 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

Everything downstream of Carson Beck depends on Carson Beck, and the building knows it. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

They will need Skinner to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Adding Connor McGovern by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In the end it comes back to Carson Beck, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
