Williams is the plan now, and the Giants grade out a D. Thirty-one other rooms let Jonah Elliss slide, and the Giants were the ones holding the card at pick 186. Highway robbery. A D that will need time and luck to look better.
The cost of the Magee reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down.
Caleb Williams gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. The Giants clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
