The steal of the weekend belongs to the Saints and Mondon Jr.: B+.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Saints watched Smael Mondon Jr. slide 140 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Saints paired the rookies with proven help, Micah Parsons leading the way.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
