Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jalon Walker got past him. The Texans do not have to explain a thing at the 68th pick. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will need Higgins to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Job largely done: running back settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
