The board owed the Browns one, and it paid up: Jonas Sanker, the No. 130 name on the board, sitting there at pick 200 like a gift left on the doorstep.

They are betting Martin proves the room right and everyone else wrong. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
