The Cardinals lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. A weekend to file away and forget, and an F to match.

They have staked the next five years on Dante Moore, which is the only story that really matters here. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
