Draft Grade — Cardinals
Overall B
ValueB NeedA- TradesB- FutureB-
The Cardinals did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B.

For all the boxes ticked, the Cardinals skipped the loudest one: quarterback is exactly as bare as it was. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Landing Robinson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Marvin Harrison Jr.
In pick No. 4 they get a No. 1 receiver. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick27 Rnd1 Tyler Guyton
In the 27th pick they get an anchor for the offensive line at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick35 Rnd2 Chop Robinson
A tidy bit of business in No. 35, where Chop Robinson graded well above the range. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
