The Bears robbed the room for Ransom. Final grade: B.

The Bears did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Lathan Ransom fell into the Round 6 slot.

Reaching for Griffith left real value on the table behind him. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
