The Steelers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

The Steelers bet big and early on Taulia Tagovailoa, 148 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. It is not that Jackson is a bad player; it is that the Steelers had louder needs to answer first. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
