The Jaguars worked the phones like thieves and earned a C+.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Jaguars started one anyway for Hykeem Williams, 164 picks ahead of schedule. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C+.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up. With safety, running back and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on edge rusher is the choice that costs them.

The Golday steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
