For all the boxes ticked, the Jaguars skipped the loudest one: linebacker is exactly as bare as it was. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They will need Spann-Ford to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
