The Jaguars did not so much draft Trey Wedig as overpay for him, 80 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
