Draft Grade — Jaguars
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Jaguars: B-.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Jaguars shredded theirs for Donell Harris Jr.. He came off 61 spots early, and the room will hear about it.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

Pick Analysis
Pick17 Rnd1 Taliese Fuaga
In the Round 1 slot they get a cornerstone up front at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick48 Rnd2 Kalen King
A clean, defensible pick in pick 48 with a little surplus value in Kalen King. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick79 Rnd3 Cooper Beebe
By-the-book stuff, Cooper Beebe at Round 3, Pick 15 squarely in line with his ranking. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick96 Rnd3 Junior Colson
Steal is underselling it; Junior Colson at No. 96 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick114 Rnd4 Khyree Jackson
Khyree Jackson in pick No. 114 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick116 Rnd4 Zion Tupuola-Fetui
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Zion Tupuola-Fetui. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick155 Rnd5 Braelon Allen
Braelon Allen in slot 155 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. It fills a real need, too.
Pick195 Rnd6 Donell Harris Jr.
They reached into another round for Donell Harris Jr., and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
Pick211 Rnd6 Trevor Keegan
They liked Trevor Keegan enough to skip the value, taking him in No. 211. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick237 Rnd7 Evan Williams
Evan Williams at pick 237 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. The roster fit checks out.
