Grand theft in No. 79: the Jaguars steal Barton and grade out a B.

The board owed the Jaguars one, and it paid up: Graham Barton, the No. 50 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 3 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. If Tagovailoa pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
