Draft Grade — Jaguars
Overall B

The Jaguars cashed the board's mistake on McMillan: B.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Jaguars watched Tetairoa McMillan slide 26 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. Oladejo has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick5 Rnd1 Mason Graham
In the Round 1 slot they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick36 Rnd2 Tetairoa McMillan
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Tetairoa McMillan in No. 36, plain and simple. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick70 Rnd3 Donovan Jackson
Donovan Jackson in pick 70 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick88 Rnd3 Andrew Mukuba
A tidy little value on Andrew Mukuba in pick No. 88, a step better than break-even. It fills a real need, too.
Pick107 Rnd4 Tai Felton
Tai Felton at the 107th overall pick is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick126 Rnd4 Oluwafemi Oladejo
They liked Oluwafemi Oladejo enough to skip the value, taking him in slot 126. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick142 Rnd5 O'Donnell Fortune
O'Donnell Fortune in Round 5, Pick 4 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick182 Rnd6 DJ Giddens
DJ Giddens at the 182nd pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick194 Rnd6 Connor Colby
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Connor Colby at pick No. 194 is the proof. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick221 Rnd7 Ricky White III
Good price on Ricky White III in the 221st pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
