The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Jaguars watched Barrett Carter slide 31 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

The cost of the Conner reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

The Jaguars paired the rookies with proven help, Nate Wiggins leading the way.

In the end it comes back to Will Campbell, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
