A franchise passer in Beck headlines a D- weekend for the Jaguars. Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Jaguars, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.
Carson Beck gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.
They will answer for taking edge rusher early while interior defensive lineman and linebacker went begging. The Webb pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
