Draft Grade — Jaguars
Overall

FutureA+
About as clean as a draft gets for the Jaguars: A-. Every other box got a look, but wide receiver did not. The Jaguars will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with.
Adding Ja'Quan McMillian by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. The Thomas pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.
Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.
In the end it comes back to Kenneth Grant, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
Pick Analysis
Pick20
Rnd1
Kenneth Grant
In the 20th pick they get a wrecking ball inside. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick36
Rnd2
Tyler Booker
No edge and no loss on Tyler Booker in Round 2, Pick 4; it is a wash and a sensible one. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick51
Rnd2
Azareye'h Thomas
They jumped the gun on Azareye'h Thomas, taking him earlier than his grade liked. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick70
Rnd3
Elijah Arroyo
A conviction pick on Elijah Arroyo at the Round 3 slot that the board grades a round light. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick88
Rnd3
Donovan Jackson
Donovan Jackson at No. 88 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
