When a board-topper like Braden Fiske slides to the 114th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Jaguars did not. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They went 8 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
