The tape said wait; the Jaguars did not. Xavier Thomas went at the Round 6 slot, a good 44 picks before the board was ready.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. On value alone, Ulofoshio makes the weekend a net positive.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
