The Jaguars did not so much draft J.J. Weaver as overpay for him, 139 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

The Devonshire pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. Adding Chris Oladokun by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Hit on Darius Robinson and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
