A franchise passer in McCarthy headlines a C+ weekend for the Broncos.

They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. J.J. McCarthy is the Broncos' quarterback, full stop. It washes out to a C+, no better and no worse.

Kamara has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

If J.J. McCarthy and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
