Jakey13 DRAFTING FOR THEFalcons
Draft Grade — Falcons
Overall

Reid should have been long gone. The Falcons pounced, and earned a B. You build a draft on nights like this. Karene Reid had no business being available in the Round 7 slot, and the Falcons did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
The offensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with tight end the one that mattered most.
Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick15
Rnd1
Mykel Williams
Mykel Williams at the Round 1 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick46
Rnd2
Jalon Walker
Steal is underselling it; Jalon Walker at pick 46 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick117
Rnd4
Elijah Arroyo
Elijah Arroyo in the 117th overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick244
Rnd7
Karene Reid
Karene Reid in the 244th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
