The Browns let Cooper fall and pounced. Final grade: D+.

The phones were a trap the Browns kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. Put together, it is a D+.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Cooper falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
