This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Daylen Everette, the No. 81 name on the board, stolen at slot 100.

They are betting Singleton proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
