Allar should have been long gone. The Falcons pounced, and earned a B-.

Call it larceny. Drew Allar sat on the board until the 195th overall pick, and the Falcons did not need to be asked twice. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

Every board in the league had Halton lower, and that gap is the story. They punted on offensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing TJ Hall in slot 231. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
