Marshall Jr. should have been long gone. The Steelers pounced, and earned a B.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jason Marshall Jr. got past him. The Steelers do not have to explain a thing at pick 229. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
