A sensible, unshowy class lands the Titans a B-.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Titans took Ethan Downs a full 72 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Nelson. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
