You build a draft on nights like this. TreVeyon Henderson had no business being available in No. 154, and the Bengals did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

Tight end was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The Nic Jones pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
