The war room fell hard for Jaden Hicks, and it showed at pick 58: 27 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

With wide receiver, tight end and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

Milton III at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
