Every other box got a look, but quarterback did not. The Chiefs will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

On value alone, Grant makes the weekend a net positive. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

They took Hollin Pierce at par in the Round 4 slot, which is nothing to complain about. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

Craig Woodson is a better player than pick 226 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick251 Rnd7 Theo Wease Jr.
Theo Wease Jr. at No. 251 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the wide receiver. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick257 Rnd7 Roc Taylor
Good price on Roc Taylor in pick No. 257, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
