gomiami787 DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks

Draft Grade — Seahawks

Grand theft in No. 50: the Seahawks steal Membou and grade out a B. This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Armand Membou, the No. 11 name on the board, stolen at the 50th pick. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Kandra has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick18
Rnd1
Tyler Warren
In pick 18 they get a seam-stretching tight end at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick50
Rnd2
Armand Membou
Steal is underselling it; Armand Membou at the 50th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick52
Rnd2
Malaki Starks
The board fumbled Malaki Starks all the way to the 52nd pick, and they scooped it up. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick82
Rnd3
Danny Stutsman
By-the-book stuff, Danny Stutsman at slot 82 squarely in line with his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick92
Rnd3
Quinn Ewers
A straight-up fair deal on Quinn Ewers at the Round 3 slot, value and slot in agreement. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick137
Rnd4
Luke Kandra
They paid a round early for Luke Kandra in pick No. 137, more than the board wanted. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick172
Rnd5
O'Donnell Fortune
They barely believed it either: O'Donnell Fortune still on the board at Round 5, Pick 34. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick175
Rnd5
Ollie Gordon II
Ollie Gordon II in No. 175 is fair value, right on his grade. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick223
Rnd7
Cam Jackson
No drama and no debate, Cam Jackson went about where he belonged in Round 7, Pick 7. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick234
Rnd7
Nazir Stackhouse
Nazir Stackhouse at the 234th pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
