The Commanders did not so much draft Ashton Gillotte as overpay for him, 34 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Call it a C+ and check back in two years.

The Hancock steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
